  1. A Breton beach seen over a chestnut dune fence: pale sand, pink granite outcrops, small boats moored in the bay and a turreted villa on the headland.
  2. A tidal harbour drained at low water, sailing boats propped upright on the seabed and one hull tipped over in the foreground, the village behind the quay.
  3. A rocky island carrying a stone fort and a lighthouse, dark reefs breaking the water in front, under heavy grey cloud.
  4. A wide tidal flat at low water, channels and weed-covered rock stretching to a distant red beacon and a grounded yacht.
  5. A misty pink-granite cove seen through a window: turquoise shallows, scattered boulders and a paddleboarder crossing the bay.
