Croatia and Italy 2026

  1. A reed-shaded terrace looking out over a calm lagoon, a concrete jetty on pilings in the foreground and a low road bridge crossing the water beyond.
  2. A mown alpine meadow dropping away into forested valleys, with cloud-capped Dolomite peaks strung along the far horizon.
  3. A sculpture built from brightly painted corals against a stone wall, captioned 'Očuvajmo koraljne grebene — Save the coral reefs'.
  4. A narrow stepped alley climbing between stone and ochre-plastered houses in a Croatian old town, a strip of blue sky overhead.
